BOSS Staffing is currently hiring Maintenance Technicians for our client in North York / Vaughan.

Location: Pine Valley Dr / Steeles Ave W, North York

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Shift:

Days: 6am – 4:45pm

Afternoons: 4pm -2am

Pay rate: $30 – $35 / hr

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician
  • Proficiency with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems including servicing motors, conveyor systems, and transmission systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
  • Experience with PLC controllers and industrial instrumentation.
  • Practice safe work habits.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical diploma.
  • Basic computer and report writing skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Forklift and lift experience.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation of machinery, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance at specified intervals based on manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Install new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
  • Perform daily checks on equipment operation and safe work practices. Proactively assess/repair potential equipment issues.
  • Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
  • Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades as required.
