BOSS Staffing is currently hiring a Transportation Team Lead for a transportation client in Mississauga (will be moving to Brampton shortly).

Location: Dixie Rd / Eglinton Ave East, Mississauga.

*Please Note: Will be moving to Advance Blvd and Tomken Rd shortly.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 3pm – 12am (Saturdays required occasionally)

Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements

  • 2 years Team lead /leadership experience
  • Experience working in a Transportation environment
  • Crossdock Experience – 3 years
  • LTL/Strapping Experience
  • Computer skills are a must (Microsoft excel basic entry, email, scanning etc.)
  • Valid Counterbalance License

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations in the warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Coordinate and assign work tasks to warehouse staff
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise among warehouse staff
