BOSS Staffing is currently hiring AZ Drivers for a large sales and rental company in Hamilton.

Quick Info

Location: Hamilton, ON

Schedule: Monday – Friday (with some overtime required)

Shift: 6:30am – 4:00pm

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour to start

Requirements

  • 3 years experience driving AZ trucks
  • Valid AZ License
  • Knowledge of HOS
  • Experience with moving large machinery (Forklift/Booms etc.)
  • Experience strapping loads
  • Clean driver abstract and CVOR
  • Be punctual and hardworking
  • Have strong English skills (reading, writing, and spoken)

Responsibilities

  • Using ramps to load and off load equipment
  • Strapping loads
  • Moving large machinery (forklift/booms etc.)
  • Transporting goods safely to and from specified locations.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all pick-ups and drop-offs, rest periods, mileage covered, fuel consumption, and toll fees.
  • Appropriately planning driving routes to ensure goods are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Regularly inspecting and maintaining the company truck to ensure that it is roadworthy.
  • Promptly notifying the supervisor of any major mechanical issues, traffic violations, and accidents involving the truck.
